Overview

Impetus DSP builds audio tools that process sound locally on your device whenever possible. We do not sell user data, use user data for advertising, or share user data with data brokers.

Tab Audio Processor

Tab Audio Processor captures audio from the active browser tab only when you start capture from the extension UI. The captured audio is processed locally on your device to provide the extension's audio features, such as EQ, speech clarity, comfort processing, dynamics, limiting, and metering.

Tab Audio Processor does not request or use microphone input. It does not transmit captured tab audio to Impetus DSP servers.

Information stored locally

The extension may store settings locally, including presets, audio processing preferences, and per-site profile choices. This storage is used to remember your preferences and provide the extension's user-facing features.

Data collection and sharing

Impetus DSP does not collect, sell, rent, or share captured audio, browsing history, or extension settings for advertising or marketing. We do not allow humans to read captured tab audio because it is not sent to us.
